Partners for Progress

Partners for Progress

Partners for Progress is a local food pantry (or food bank) mission for the people of Perry County living in need.

PUMC volunteers to help out one Saturday a month to distribute food to the needy.  If you are interested in participating in the mission ministry please contact David Baker or Cindy Lee.

THANKS TO EVERYONE

Partners for Progress handed out Christmas Food Baskets to 85 senior citizens and 91 families in Perry County.  Perryville United Methodist Church was one of the largest single contributors in this effort.  Also, several members of our congregation work very hard loading and unloading large amounts of food and assembling baskets to hand out.  There was a tremendous need this year and Vicki Gill along with the board was very grateful to those who helped out.

Kate & Ana will attest there is lots of food to distribute this holiday season. Pastor David Baker arrives to help out.

Perryville United Methodist Church currently offers Angel Food Ministries, if you wish to order through this ministry please contact the church office Monday through Friday 8-12 (noon).

www.conwayharvest.org is also an Angel Food ministry, an inexpensive way to feed your family.  It is a distribution program offered by the Harvest Church of the Nazarene.  Food stamps are accepted.  Others might consider purchasing the monthly menu as an offering to Partners for Progress.  You may make your purchases online through this link.

There is an Angel Food ministry in Perry County however purchasing from this ministry online is not available.  For more information please contact the church office.
