More than just a meal....

Perryville United Methodist Church delivers hot, nourishing meals to the elderly and disabled who are unable to provide meals for themselves. The meals, daily contact by caring volunteers and professional case management through the meals on wheels program allow the frail and homebound in our community to remain in their own homes ... where they want to be.

OUR MISSION:
"To promote the dignity and independence of the disabled, the elderly, and other homebound folks by delivering nutritious meals thereby allowing us to do God's work by serving others."

Perryville United Methodist Church shares this mission with two other churches in the area, so we deliver meals every 5th and 6th week. Breakfast is provide twice a month instead of a lunch.  Meals are only delivered Monday through Friday.  We do not deliver meals on week-ends or holidays.

Volunteers pick-up breakfast meals by 8:00 a.m. and lunches between 10:30 & 11:00 a.m.

I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.  ~~~~~~~Romans 12:1-2
